Special Ground Beef Omelette


Simple, affordable and delicious. :) I know that everybody can cook this but I just want to share. Happy weekend everyone.


Ingredients for 6 servings:
6 large eggs
150 grams ground beef
1 carrots (minced)
1 potato (minced)
1/2 cup green peas
1 onion (minced)
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1.  Saute the onion, add the ground beef, carrots and potato then continue to saute and simmer for 5 minutes, add salt and pepper to taste then the green peas and simmer fo r a minute and turn off the heat. Set aside.
2. Beat the eggs then add salt and pepper. Heat a flat bottom pan and put half of the beaten eggs, when it is already half cooked put half of the sauted meat mixture then fold the side and roll towards the other side to form a roll or simply fold both sides to meet at the center then continue cooking until done. ( Cook in 2 batches)
3. Slice then serve.

Ham and Cheese Waffles


I am fond of eating waffles when I was a kid, now that I am old it's time to make it for the kids. :-)
Ingredients for 10-12 waffles:
250 grams flour
100 grams corn starch
100 grams sugar
5 grams baking powder
7 grams salt
600 ml fresh milk
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon oil
1 egg yolk
1 egg white ( beaten until foamy)
1/2 cup diced ham
1/2 cup grated cheese


Procedure:
1. In a blender put the egg yolk, salt, sugar, baking powder, oil, butter and milk then blend for a minute, add the cornstarch and flour then blend until  no more lumps.
2. Pour the mixture in a big mixing bowl then fold in the egg white and continue folding until fully combined.
3. Set the waffle machine  at 250C and brush it with butter, when it is hot, pour each mold up to 1/2 full then put the some ham and cheese, add more batter until totally full and close the cover and wait for 2-3 minutes or until cooked.
4. Waffles are now ready to be served.

Salad with Poppy Seeds Dressing

 A healthy salad tossed with poppy seed salad dressing, a perfect start to boost your appetite. Highly recommended, really yummy and low in calories.

Ingredients:
2 cups lettuce (Cleaned well)
2 big tomatoes ( diced and seeds removed)
1 avocado (diced)
Poppy seed salad dressing ( according to your taste)


Procedure:
1. Combine the first 3 ingredients then drizzle it with poppy seed dressing and serve.

Ricota Cheese Appetizer

An excellent combination for appetizer, the aroma of the oregano flakes and the creaminess of ricota cheese will really boost your appetite.

Ingredients:
1 cup cubed ricota cheese or kesong puti
3/4 cup seedless olives
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon oregano flakes

Procedure:
1. Combine the tomatoes, cheese and olive in a big mixing bowl.
2. Sprinkle with olive oil and oregano flakes.
3. Serve.

Green Beans Delight


Crunchy green beans loaded with my favorite chicken and shrimps, very rich in flavor, mmmmm :).

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo green beans/ Baguio beans
150 grams chicken breast (cut to your desired size)
150 grams shrimps ( de-shelled)
3 gloves garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Saute garlic then add the chicken and saute until brownish then add the soy sauce and shrimps and stir for 30 seconds.
2. Increase the heat then add the green beans and stir until almost done, add salt and pepper to taste then continue to stir until done.
3. Serve with love :-).

Ham and Cheese Omelette


Simple and easy yet yummy.

Ingredients:
2 slices sweet ham
2 eggs
2 tablespoons grated melting cheese
salt and pepper to taste
oil or butter as needed

Procedure:
1. Beat the eggs then add salt and pepper to taste.
2. Heat the oil the pour the beaten eggs, add the ham slices and cheese evenly and fold each sides toward the center and continue to cook until done.


3. Serve and enjoy. I served mine with garlic and bacon pasta. Yummy!
