Halo-halo Cake

This is a delicious cake layered with ube chiffon and halo-halo flavor toppings in butter frosting. Really yummy!

DRY INGREDIENTS:
112g cake flour
2 g salt
3 g baking powder
100g sugar

WET MIXTURE:
4 pcs egg yolk
48g oil
112g water
1/2 tsp vanilla


MERINGUE MIXTURE:
4pcs egg white
48 g white sugar
1/2t tar2

Add: 3 Tablespoons ube powder

UBE CHIFFON CAKE:

1. Pre heat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Combine all the dry ingredients except sugar and then sift for three times, add the sugar.
3. Add the wet ingredients in your dry ingredients. Use a whisk to mix them all together then set aside.
4. In a mixer bowl, beat your eggwhites then add cream of tartar until bubbly, once bubbly add in your white sugar gradually then mix until stiff peaks form.
5. Pour your batter in the meringue mixture then fold in to combine. Add the 3 tablespoons of ube powder, then fold in again to combine.
6. Pour your batter in an 8 inches round pan.
7. Tap for 3x to release bubbles.
8. Bake in preheated oven 

BUTTER FROSTING:

1 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup white or powdered sugar

Procedure: In a mixer bowl, combine the 3 ingredients and mix until ingredients incorporates.

ASSEMBLING THE CAKE:

TOPPINGS:
Leche flan
Red kaong
Green kaong
Ube halaya
Macapuno
Sweetened saba
Procedure:
1.Coat your ube cake with the butter frosting.
2. Decorate with your desired piping techniques.
3. Top the halo-halo ingredients.
4. Ready to serve
