Ang lechon kawali ay isang putahe na maituturing kong special dahil masarap at katakamtakam. Hindi ka mapapahiya sa handaan kung ito ang ihahain mo dahil siguradong magugustuhan ito.
Mga Sangkap:
- 1/2 kilo liempo ng baboy
- 1 sibuyas (hiniwa)
- 2 butil bawang (dinikdik)
- 2 kutsara katas ng calamansi
- asin at paminta panimpla
- tubig (pantay sa karne)
- mantika na pagpipirituhan
- Ilagay sa kaldero ang liempo, bawang, sibuyas, asin, paminta at tubig. Pakuluan ito hanggang sa lumambot. Timplahang maigi.
- Hanguin kapag malambot na at patuluin ang tubig. Kapag nakatulo na ilagay ang katas ng calamansi at lagyan ng asin at paminta kung kailangan.
- Prituhin ito hanggang sa maging golden brown, hiwain at ihain.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Kilos pork belly
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons calamansi or lime juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- water ( level with the meat)
- oil for frying
- In pot put all the ingredients except for the lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the pork is tender. Make sure that the salt and pepper is enough to flavor the meat.
- Remove from the water and set aside to drain the water. Sprinkle with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil then deep fry until golden brown, slice into bite size then serve.
