There are many bananas at our farm, my mother always keep some in the ripener and once it is already ripe she will cook it with sugar and we call it "minatamis na saging" or sweetened banana. It's from her whom I learned to cooked this.
Ingredients:
4 ripe banana ( peeled)
3/4 cup sugar ( add if necessary)
2 cups water
Procedure:
1.In a pot put all the ingredients then cook over medium heat, once it starts boiling, switch to low heat then continue to simmer until cooked.
2. Once cooked increase the heat to high, allowing the brine to almost caramelized. Turn off the heat then serve.
