Salmon Nigiri Sushi




This is very easy to make and  a good way to start making sushi if you are a first timer, nigirizushi is a kind of sushi made by pressing the rice with a hand and putting the topping draped over it. The popular toppings for this kind of sushi are salmon, tuna and shrimps. Let us start with salmon, I will post more about this soon with different topping.

Ingredients
some salmon fillet
cooked sushi rice
wasabi (optional)

Procedure:
1. With your hand get a certain amount of cooked sushi rice then form it into oblong by pressing it between the palms of the hand, then put a small amount of wasabi then put the salmon fillet.




2. Repeat the same process until you attain your desired number of nigiri that you want to serve. Very simple and easy to make, right?

3. Serve it with your favorite sushi sauce.



Here is how to cook the sushi rice:
1. Wash the rice then put water, vinegar and sugar let it boil and cook like the normal rice that we eat during our meals.
2. When the rice is cooked let it cool, then prepare other sushi ingredients.

if sushi rice is not available just mix 2 cups of glutinous rice with 3/4 cup of normal rice.
